That's really an embarassment to blind squirrells. Aaron Brooks better get that game ball, have it painted with his point totals and put it up in his trophy case....probably won't score that many points again in his career.

yall are both crazy, the kid is a very capable player, and has implanted his will the entire series, no one on the lakers can guard him.
ron artest+shane battier>kobe, the way its looking right now
Well no wonder, look who they have guarding Brooks: 50 year old Derek Fisher. Lots of love for Fisher, but he's definitely lost a step. The Lakers better be pulling for the Mavericks to win one or two more against Denver. Don't want to give the Nuggets a whole lot of rest after how good they've been playing of late.
I'm a Lakers fan, but someone needs to give props to Shane Battier for stepping up like he has. Everyone and their momma said he wasn't going to be a good NBA player coming out of Duke--well, he's just as good in the NBA right now as he was on the college scene. He's playing deep into the season and starting on one of the final 7 teams left. He's one of their leaders in the locker room and plays the game the right way.
I still hope the Lakers win the series, but Battier deserves some major recognition for being a lot better than people said he would be coming out of college.
Fisher hasn't been the only one to guard him, he's been doing it to everyone on that team and other teams all season. He's pretty underrated, just like Cane was saying about Battier...which I've met when he played for the Grizzlies and one hell of a nice guy. Everyone on that Houston team has stepped it up this series, especially the bench.
Big games on tonight..
Orlando and Boston right now. 45-37 and the second half about to start right now. BTW, Reddick has been pretty damn good this series.
And Houston/LA at 1030, wanting to see how both teams will come out.
I just caught the tale end of it, but did the announcers get into it just before halftime and one walk off?
oh boy, you sure got me :/
even though he was only a point off his season average, hes a second year player, playing without the all star at C, and still mananged to score 14 points when the lakers were designed to stop him.
didnt kobe score 15 in a game this series? whats the difference? its called an off game.
im sorry buddy, if you would just quit even posting, maybe youd be right every once and a while :/
yeah ive had to eat crow, but you of all people telling me ive had to eat crow is HILARIOUS
american anyone?
and no, you didnt say aaron brooks wouldnt drop 34, you said the blind squirell cliche
too bad he averages 15 pts, is a starter for a team that is in the western semi's, been praised by everyone for his exceptional play so far in the playoffs.
hows that crow again? or are you so immune to it by now it doesnt taste bad anymore?
